Book List

Apparently the National Endowments for the Arts put out this book list and claims that the average American has read only 6 of the titles.

I have read *ahem* 43 of them! That makes me seem really above average or just a dork that doesn't get out much! I'll let you decide. :) I read some of the titles in high school,some turning my time working @ the library and some with my kids as THEY progressed through high school.I wonder how many folks had to read ZERO of them to bring the average down to 6? How would you even get through high school w/o reading at least a few of these?

Also, I'm sorry for having to keep locking and unlocking my blog. I've been getting spammed in my comments and I just do not have the time nor the patience to deal with it. My best suggestion would be to add me to your google reader or whatever other feed-reeder you might use to be notified when I DO post. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
