When you run over a two inch piece of broken scissor blade* while cruising down a country road and your tire goes flat at an intersection all you will have to do is get out of the car, sit on the curb and talk to your mom on the cell phone while the boys change the tire as easily as they would change their underwear.
Reason#2-
Your super-smart,super-computer savvy 19 year old can set up a hidden,motion-detector security camera using a $16 web-cam from Target, a usb cable and his lap-top that will monitor your cars in your driveway overnight so just in case the thieves that stole your purse out of your van ever decide to come back, they'll be caught on tape. Its also very good for calming ones fears about what exactly it is that triggers the motion-detector flood lights to trigger on in the middle of the night but when you look out the window @ 3am there is nothing there. One can go look at the video and see that it was only a stray cat prowling around, NOT the burglars.
*It not only punctured the tire, it put a gash in it so wide and so deep that it cut through the steel belts so that we could not just have it patched at the repair shop, it required us to purchase a new set of tires. Grrrrrrr!

Good reasons! I know I am glad for a handy dh! I wish we could set up something like that! My parents are having an awful time with gasoline thieves!
