A Sunday Scribblings Topic

Simple.

I love the word simple.
Its so,well........simple.
Unless you look at it a long, long time
then it starts to look like pimple.

Oh stop me, I did not mean to write a rhyme with this Scribbling.

Simple.
I do love the word.
Simple
Plain and Simple
Simplicity
Keep it simple, stupid. At least it used to be that until the PC police objected to calling anyone or anything "stupid" so now we have
Keep it simple, sweetie
or
Keep it simple,sweetheart
or
Keep it simple, silly.

Spare me.

Maybe I am just plain stupid, but the simpler things are or can be made to be, the more I like them. I love, value and envy simplicity.

I found this quote on another scribblers blog by Einstein-
"Any fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius -- and a lot of courage -- to move in the opposite direction."

We are big Einstein fans around here, Einstoneians, you might say or would you say Einstienites instead?

Einstein almost rhymes with
Nine times
which is a phrase in one of our most favorite movies of all times around here.
Can anyone guess what it is?
Anyone?
Anyone?

Awww...you ruined the word for me. Now I'm going to be thinking about pimples when I see it.

Though said in tongue in cheek, it has much to think about.

I don't know the movie, but I did want to share that K.I.S.S. is the first thing I thought of when I read "simple". My mom used that phrase (stupid and all) often enough. She also used to spell one more - T.A.R.D., tard (aka tired), used when we were exhausted.

Hi Carol,

Oh i love that Einstien qoute! He also said something like, you dont really understand soemthing till you can explain it to a child or your 80 year old grandmother. Now thats simplicity : )

I also really loved reading more about your story on your birthday post. Happy belated birthday : )

Paix,

Wendy

PS On a comment youd asked about finding piks. Basically i just put keywords of the feeling or type of image im looking for into a google image search and see what stands out. Its different everythime, so its not like any sites themselves stand out to look for lots of images on. Course there may be...but im not that organized yet to notice which ones yet : (
