My eldest son is being drug-tested.

He's not in any trouble or anything. He got a job yesterday!!! Well, thats conditional on his passing his drug test, but I don't foresee any trouble with that one.

He was hired at Target as seasonal sales help in the electronics department.

We've all been calling him "Chuck Bartowski" (From the new tv show "Chuck" which we've been watching since the premiere and all really like so we figure it will probably be cut soon.)

He looked so handsome yesterday! He wore a shirt and tie to the interview and a ponytail. :\ He looked so handsome and young and hip! He told me afterwards that he was appalled at the way the other interviewees had dressed (or not, actually) for their interviews.

He was hired on the spot, so he must have done ok. We were talking afterwards and he was telling me about some of the questions and his responses. He said he kept using his experience in working on the robotics team as an answer. They finally asked him, "So, this robot, was it for work or was it a school event?" He answered that it was for school, but I laughed and said he should have told them "I used to work for NASA, actually!"HA!

If you think about it, he's got a fairly impressive sounding resume, he used to work for a company called "Laser Accents" and he has experence in building and programming robots. Not too shabby for an 18 year old.
